Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
UMKC’s MSN program offers advanced nursing education through fully online coursework, preparing nurses for leadership roles in various healthcare settings. The program includes specialty tracks, such as:
- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
- Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGNP)
- Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP)

Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
UMKC’s online DNP program is the highest level of nursing practice, designed to prepare nurses to improve healthcare outcomes through leadership and evidence-based practice. The program offers both BSN-to-DNP and MSN-to-DNP pathways, with specialty tracks, including:
